Darling Confections Cookies and Cupcakes

I know I posted a little short post stating that I am booked until April and will not be accepting any new orders. I have had to turn down several orders since that post and it is just so hard to turn down orders. I started this baking journey almost 4 years ago. There have been several instances where I have been swamped with orders. I have had to sacrifice family time and have sacrificed my mental well being to fulfill orders. I am not done baking forever since I love it so... much. But I am just needing to take a break to refocus on what’s most important and to get re-inspired on baking. I will definitely be taking time off from baking over the summer just to enjoy family and focus on things that make me happy. To just be able to relax and enjoy being outdoors. There are so many other little things that I enjoy and I have not been able to do those with all my baking. It has been especially more difficult with everything that has going on with the pandemic. It is a difficult decision to back off on baking for a awhile, but it is definitely needed. I am so grateful and appreciative of all the continued support. I will post when I will start accepting orders again but it will be well after summer. Once again, thank you for all the love and support and kind words. Your kind words have not gone unnoticed. Buttercream decorated cookies for a 16 year old who likes water skiing and driving.

Harry Potter cake! The snitch ball, wand, and glasses are fondant. Everything else is buttercream icing.

My daughter has been obsessed with Frozen and Elsa for a couple of years now! Second time I did a frozen theme for her. This year I wanted to make an Elsa dress cake for her! Happiest birthday to my sweet 4 year old birthday girl!

Aged to perfection theme. These were decorated with royal icing.

I thought the woodland creatures on the invite were so cute so I wanted to match them for the cookies.
