I am trying to to be too negative, but this article published in 2012 is proving to portend of things to come. The stats since 2012 are even more alarming this same trend holds true for other traditional instruments like the guitar and bass.. Hello fellow teachers. I recently had my most promising young student pulled out of lessons for a variety of stated reasons. Noe of which seem particularly true. I have taken this letter and adapted it and was thinking of sending it to the parent...not as an attempt to get student back..but mayby a tiny wake up call for MOM...
