As many of you already know, City Hall is closed for a few days. We had a positive case last week and yesterday I tested positive. Late fees have not and will not be added to bills until we are back in the office. Several people had already added late fees to their payment, those will be credited to next month's bill. Crocker Municipal Court for tonight has been canceled. All cases scheduled for tonight have been moved to December 17th at 7:00 p.m.

I received a call yesterday concerned about the drop off between side streets and u highway. I talked to someone from MODOT and he assured me that the contractor is in the process of finishing the work and that will be fixed, it just may take a little time. I also would like to let everyone know that the lobby is now open again. Masks are appreciated but not required. Opal

All Crocker Municipal Division court cases for Thursday, August 20th, have been cancelled. All Pulaski County courts are back in Operating Phase One, effective close of business 8/13/2020, until further notice. This phase does not allow for in-person proceedings for the Crocker Municipal Division. Cases originally scheduled for 8/20/2020 are tentatively rescheduled for Thursday, 9/17/2020 at 6:00 p.m. Please note the early start time. Mayor Smith, after discussion with the Health Department Director about the rise in covid cases in our town, has made the decision to close Crocker City Hall to the public until further notice. Please use the night drop located to the right of our flag and municipal building sign. I try to keep envelopes in there to use but people like to shove the empty ones back inside. The City of Crocker has an open full time position in the public works department. Applications may be picked up at City Hall from 8-4:30 Monday-Friday.

Just a reminder that a posted public hearing will be held in the Crocker City Hall at 10:00 a.m. , tomorrow, July 16th, at which time citizens can be heard on established sewer charges and possible rate changes.
