Did you know that the average age in the US is 12 to 14 years old? I have close friends with granddaughters that age. Do you know anyone who is 14? More than 90% of these kids have already been sexually abused by that point. They have been traumatized, and are seeking some sense of independence, some sense of being known and seen and loved, and they walk right into the practiced, manipulating arms of sex traffickers. Crisis Aid advocacy offices are a refuge within their police departments warm, home-like living rooms, where young girls, victims of sex trafficking, can choose their own blanket and sit curled up on a couch with a cup of cocoa.
