Cooper Ridge Country Store

My husband looked out our upstairs bedroom window this morning at 4:15 when we got up and said, ‘the deer are eating your sweet potatoes’. I opened the window a...nd yelled, ‘ get out of my garden!’ And they slowly walked off, looking back as if to say why!!! Sure enough, they stripped the leaves off of them, but also found my beet tops and green beans!! Panels will be over the beets and turnips tonight and I’m not sure what I’m gonna do about the green beans yet!! See more

And finally today’s blooming flowers! I love growing edibles, but you have to mix in some flowers along the way too!

The blackberries, raspberries and strawberries are blooming. Grapes got froze back but they are coming back strong now. Cherries are on the Nanking cherry bushes. Gooseberries are little green balls. Peaches and apples are making. I love watching things grow!!
