City Hall will be closed November 26th & 27th in observation of the Thanksgiving holiday. If your normal trash pick up is on Thursday, it will be picked up on Wednesday the 25th. If your normal trash day is Friday, it will be picked up on Monday the 30th. We hope everyone has a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving!

We will be closed Wednesday, November 11th in honor of Veterans Day. The City of Mountain View would like to thank all of the Veterans for their service to our country. ****Please note...If your normal trash day is Wednesday, it will run on Thursday the 12th.

Today, we toured and worked at the MV Recycling Center. I have to be honest and say the students weren’t particularly thrilled at first. The tour definitely spi...ked their interest and we sorted the entire first load for the day in a little over 10 minutes. I heard everything from gagging sounds, to students taking ‘Kobe’ shots, to cool, look at this, and BEST TRIP EVER! Thank you Dave Abbey. We’ll definitely be coming back. They recycle plastic bottles without lids for polyester, paper/cardboard for dog beds and spray foam insulation, aluminum cans, metal, glass, and more.
