COMPOST AREA CLOSED TILL OCTOBER 26TH The compost area will be closed from October 14th through October 26th. Once Public Works has completed their portion of Morgan and Vine Streets, they will chip what is in the area now and then re-open when that is completed.

NOTICE TO RESIDENTS ON VINE AND MORGAN FROM PUBLIC WORKS The City of New Haven will be completing the milling and paving of Morgan and Vine Streets starting Monday, October 19, 2020 through Wednesday, October 21, 2020. The remaining asphalt portion of Morgan and all of Vine Street will have the existing asphalt surface milled on Monday October 19, 2020. Access to driveways will be limited during this process. Paving is scheduled to start as soon as the milling process is comp...lete, which is tentatively set for Tuesday, October 20, 2020. This is dependent on the paving contractor's schedule. During the milling process access to driveways will also be limited. During the paving process, portions of the streets will have to be closed for an extended period of time. We will try and maintain one lane of traffic for the residents during paving but expect delays of up to two hours. No on street parking will be allowed during construction hours, 7:00am to 5:00pm, on these previously mentioned days. We thank you for patience and cooperation during this phase of the project. E-WASTE RECYCLE EVENT IN NEW HAVEN THIS WEEKEND On Saturday, September 26th, there will be an e-cycle event in New Haven. You may drop off items between 9 AM and 1 PM at 205 Industrial Park - The New Haven Public Works Building. For a full list of items that can be drop off for free, see the "Free to Recycle" section at the following web page: https://mrcrecycling.net/recycling-fees For those items that include a charge (CRT TV's, Items with Freon) cash or checks only to pay to drop these items off.
