The death of a loved one definitely falls under the category of hurt. In our Lonedell Celebrate Recovery we are starting a weekly GRIEF small group. If you or someone you know has lost a love one, it is a ...great place to process that grief that can be so, so heavy. We would love to have you come. Dinner starts at 6 PM, meeting at 6:30 PM.

Obsession with self in these matters is a dead end; attention to God leads us out into the open, into a spacious, free life. Focusing on the self is the opposite of focusing on God. Anyone completely absorbed in self ignores God, ends up thinki...ng more about self than God. That person ignores who God is and what he is doing. And God isn’t pleased at being ignored.
