As more phases open up, we here at the Health Dept are working to get you in for your COVID vaccination. We will be taking appointments on Thursday April 1st, this is our first opportunity after Phase 2 opens. Then as Phase 3 opens on April 9th, we will be taking appointments on Tuesday April 13th and will staying later in an effort to accommodate some of those who have to work. A personal note: As my tenure as Administrator comes to an end soon, I’d like to give a shout out to my staff. Carroll Countians can be so proud of the work ethic, integrity & expertise of all of our employees. The past year has been hard on everyone in our county. Our team has worked tirelessly doing their job while dealing with the pandemic as well. This past week, answering the constant phone calls, taking appointments for our mass clinic was hard. Several of you then gave up your Saturday for the clinic. Our staff is small but we proved we are mighty. You are definitely the cream of the crop. Good job! I am so blessed to call all of you my work family. A big thank you to Tracy Lock, Debbie Campbell, Rod Kirchoff, Russ Donnell for helping us this week. Couldn’t have done it without you.

Harrison Co. Health Dept. asked us to share this info with you: The mass Covid vaccine 2nd dose clinic scheduled in Bethany Mo for February 27th ( for those that received the 1st dose on Feb. 9th or 10th in Bethany) will be held at the South Harrison High School. Please come at the same time of your 1st dose. Route to take: if coming off I-35, take exit 92 to 39th st. North towards the high school. If coming from 136 Highway, follow to 139th st. North to the High School. Bulldog Avenue and exit 93 off I-35 WILL NOT be open to get to the high school.
