Yet another fine example of why I refuse to use the "quick" connectors in the back of a receptacle. Most houses new and old are wired this way. Quick connections make for a crappy termination and subsequently will get hot and fail. This is the end result.

Ladies and gents. This really irks me. Please please PLEASE call a professional when it comes to your homes needs. This guy repurposed a stove wire for a gas cooktop. Gave the huge wires a "haircut" to fit in the receptacle (illegal and very dangerous). One conductor was barely even stabbed in the back of this device. THEN he didnt change the breaker out to a lower rated one (doubling the danger) oh and the box is too low and hit both drawers where this was mounted. Basically NOTHING was right. What's worse is most of these guys are not insured for electrical work so if/when this caught fire the homeowner would've been left holding the bag! Please hire professionals!

As directed by officials, AAE will remain open for emergency service calls while this ongoing world issue develops. If you have a need for service for a power outage give us a call. Refrigerator, freezer, heating and air power loss. We. Can. Help!

I cannot stress enough how important it is to be careful with ANY heat producing device. They overload wiring in homes all the time and I get call outs for burned receptacles or circuits that failed. Well wirings burned! Please be safe!

A sure sign that your home was previously hit by surges. Display on your electronics have messed up. More sensitive electronics (computers, smart tvs, entertainment systems, game consoles etc.) Are even more susceptible. A two point system is your best bet to protect these devices.
