Remember? Remember before, before you came to Christ? Ephesians 2:1 Once you were dead because of your disobedience and your many sins. You used to live in sin..., just like the rest of the world, obeying the devilthe commander of the powers in the unseen world. That was all of us before! But praise God, those who have come to Christ are no longer dead, but alive in Christ Jesus. It is the Holy Spirit who is at work in us, conforming us to the very image of Christ Jesus! (Romans 8:29) Struggling in your Christian walk, you just can’t seem to get it right? Well, be encouraged, it is God who is at work in you and He is faithful to do what you cannot! However, for those who are not believers in Jesus, it is a different story. Ephesians tells us, it is the Devil that is at work in the lives of those who are not believers. You used to live in sin, just like the rest of the world, obeying the devilthe commander of the powers in the unseen world. He is the spirit at work in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God Make no mistake, either God is working in your life or the devil is! Those people you work with or pass every day on the street who are not believers, the devil is actively working in their lives to destroy them. We shouldn’t expect people who are not believers to act the way believers act, the devil is at work in them! So what is the message here? Well, it is twofold, for those of us who are believers, praise God, he is faithful to work in us, conforming us to the image of his son. Don’t give up, God WILL accomplish what He has begun in you! In your weakness He is made strong! However for those who don’t know Christ, remember the devil is at work in their lives. They need to be set free from the power of the devil and only Jesus Christ can do that. So what do we do? We thank God for His work in our lives and we pray and reach out to those who are slaves of the devil. Praying for you! Bruce

How often have you heard the phrase, "who am I and what was I born for? We live in a world where people are searching for something, often the people searching don't know what they are searching for. As believers, Paul tells us in Ephesians 1 " It's in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working ou...t in everything and everyone." Wow, God has his eye on me? That is pretty amazing, the God of all creation has His eye on me! Proverbs 3 does give us some responsibility though in "finding our way" and it is not about figuring out what you are going to do with your life. It is about seeking God because when we do that, then the supernatural enters and God leads us down a path that will be fulfilling and meaningful. Here is the verse, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Can't figure it out, put your energy into seeking God and He will direct your life and give meaning to your life. It is His promise! https://journeyonline.org/a-sure-foundation-in-a-confusing/

Is Europe calling you? Many countries in Europe are less than 1% Christian and millions have never even met another Christian believer! https://www.europemissions.org/

You’re comparing yourself against the wrong person! I read in my morning devotions, you are my guiding light in the world. Shine into my life so I will be disc...erning and will not compare and measure myself with those whose lifestyles neither reflect Your standards nor speak of Your teachings I have heard the phrase many times, well, I’m not as bad as I believe people who say this are only making excuses for their own sin! Life decisions cannot be based on someone else’s life! The Bible tells us clearly, No one is righteous not even one All have turned away; all have become useless. No one does good, not a single one. If you are making life decisions based on someone else’s life, you are looking to the wrong person. Only God is perfect and it is His standard that we should base our decisions on. Of courses, none of us are perfect, we all make mistakes, we all sin against God. I guess it comes down to a heart issue, do you want to obey God or not? Do you want to make excuses for sin or repent of sin? God will forgive, but you have to repent of sin, not make excuse for it! Even though, God loves you, He will not turn a blind eye to your sin, you must ask for forgiveness and then stop doing the sin! Praying for you, Pastor Bruce
