To our valued clients, We want to firstly thank you for your continued support and patience during these unprecedented times. We know you are eager to interact with us face-to-face again, and we are too. However, we are currently continuing curbside service, with the health and safety of our clients and staff as our top priority, and therefore are operating per the American Veterinary Medical Association and Missouri Veterinary Medical Association’s recommendations. We greatl...y appreciate your understanding as we do our part in keeping our community safe and healthy. We know your wait times have been longer than usual at times. We are actively trying to find new ways to alleviate wait time, while ensuring that each pet’s needs are met with care and compassion. Our goal is always to provide exceptional service, and we understand the current situation is less than ideal. If you are experiencing a longer wait than normal or are waiting for call-backs from staff, we are likely dealing with a sensitive or urgent case. As a hospital we must constantly triage care. We are doing our best to accommodate all our clients’ needs, but please bear in mind we must also account for our hospitalized patients and the sick or injured patients that come through the door each day. We also are having to take extra time on the phone to discuss all treatment options for each individual patient and this sometimes requires extra time with clients who are trying to decide what to do for their beloved pet, especially when they are ill. We know that it is hot outside and will continue to get hotter. If you do not have air conditioning in your vehicle or are not able to leave your vehicle running with the air on, we are more than happy to accommodate a drop off appointment to meet your needs. If your pet has routine annual vaccinations coming due or other routine procedures and you know when you will be available, we encourage you to book your pet’s appointment well in advance to ensure we find a desirable time that works with your schedule. As always, we will send out reminders for due services at least 2 weeks in advance. Please call 48 hours in advance as usual for medication refills. Lastly, please be kind and patient with our staff, all of whom are working incredibly hard to provide compassionate care to your pets. Max has been visiting us a few times a week for the last couple of months for management on a wound. Luckily, he loves to come see his friends here at BAH. It's National Veterinary Technician Week! Join us, as we celebrate our amazingly hard working techs throughout the week and thank them for all that they do. Marissa is a current high school senior, at Thomas Jefferson School, who is going to study pre-veterinary medicine in college. She joined the Brentwood Animal Hospital team in June 2020. At home, she has two big dogs of her own that she takes hiking on the weekends. In her free time, Marissa plays volleyball, sews, and ...loves to go thrift shopping.
