Today was an awesome day for many many reasons, we got to watch Keaton and his team mates play their first football games(2), then played a little catch, then decided to go sit in a stand with Keaton. This was his very first bowhunt, we had deer all over us, but no shot for awhile. Then finally a doe got close and he shot, we were not 100% sure on the shot so we didn’t want to get down, so we waited, then he got a shot at the buck and made a great shot. We recovered the buck right away, but wanted to give the doe plenty of time, after a short 60-75 tracking job, we found his doe. A huge Thank You to Family and Friends that assisted on the retrieval.
