American Legion BKZ Post 422 is closed for the foreseeable future. All fish fries, meetings, and happy hours are cancelled. While the fish fries are a great fundraising tool for the Legion, we cannot compromise the safety of our volunteers and community. ... The Queen of Hearts raffle remains an active way to donate to the Legion via an online platform. Any updates will be shared as available.

Due to rising concerns about the spread of the Covid-19 virus we feel it best to be safe. Therefore, until further notice we will no longer meet in-person on Tuesday evenings at BKZ Post422 in Soulard for our Drawing. Instead, we will continue our weekly Queen of Hearts raffle in virtual online mode. This means you can still purchase tickets online (no cash sales) and possibly win 70% of the pot if your card is the coveted QoH, or 10% if you pull one of the two Jokers, or $1...00 for any other Queen; $75 for any Ace; $50 for any other face card; and $25 for any other numbered card. The only real change is that we will no longer award attendance prizes, which we hope you will understand is a small price to pay given the huge risk of contracting or spreading the virus. Week #5. One of our favorites BKZ Post 422 in Soulard - American Legion never disappoints! Great hand battered Cod and delicious sides. Plus beer on tap and outdoor picnic tables to enjoy the spring weather. Great job Post 422!

Hand breaded cod is back! Chow call starts at 17:00 (5PM to civilians), and we serve until 8 or until we run out. Pro Tip: earlier is better.

BKZ is your Mardi Gras HQ!! We open at 7:30 with $3 biscuits and gravy, one dollar hot dogs, and CHEAP DRINKS. We're on the south end of things. Park across the highway in the Benton Park area, walk across the bridge and stop by on your way to the parade. We'll be running all day, with a DJ playing. Everything you spend at BKZ supports veterans via the American Legion.

Prepping for the mouse races are under way. See you tonight!
