BGHS Student Council

Student Council braved the April snow to visit The Food Bank of Central and Northeast Missouri (in Columbia) to help prepare for an upcoming food distribution event. It’s a great day to be a Bobcat!

Due to road conditions and possible inclement weather, the Red Cross Blood Drive scheduled for February 17th has been canceled. If an alternate site becomes available, the Red Cross will notify the donors. Stay warm!

For this year's tournament week, the BGHS Student Council will be raffling off an Apple Watch 6 (40mm) in navy blue! Raffle tickets will be available from 5:00-7:30 at that night's games. Prices will be 1 for $5, 5 for $20, and 10 for $40, and the winner will be announced on Friday night. You do not need to be present to win the tickets. Thank you for your continued support!

Next week is Homecoming Week! We will be holding our annual cornhole tournament on Wednesday (9/23). There is no cost to enter, but food will be available for purchase. Sign up with your CAT Time teacher or Mr. Hurst. The game will begin at 7:00! Coronation will take place on Friday (9/25) during halftime. Gaiters will also be available for purchase at $10/each. ... UPDATE: We will no longer be able to sell gaiters at tonight's game. This has been rescheduled to the homecoming game on 9/25. There will also be gaiters available in the high school office throughout the week. Student Council will be selling BG neck gaiters this week for $10 each! They will be available before school and at Friday’s football game. Get ‘em before they’re gone!
