We have started a final push for our security system. The final bill for the security cameras is $4,000 and we have over $2,200 already raised! This will not only help the park stay as beautiful when completed, but also protect the firehouse and our programs as well! We appreciate all the local support making this dream a reality! Updated on 1.25.2021 we are still unable to have rentals in our building with the current Clay County Restrictions. We will be reaching out to our February rentals with cancellations and full refunds for their trouble. We hope that we will be able to have the building open for rentals again in March! Tech Cafe and Spark Studios still will remain open during this time.

Have you heard about the Use Tax? Make sure you vote in April 6th. Do you like projects like our AWESOME splash pad that’s being built? This is a solution to bring more amazing amenities to our town along with other important improvements. Our city has found a funding solution for us that does not raise our sales tax! They have a lot of resources, videos, and are willing to answer questions. Learn the information, and vote!

Who else is ready for our first-ever mobile pantry for senior citizens tomorrow?? Tomorrow starting at 9:30 am - 10:30 am at Mack Porter Park we will be giving out FREE food to senior citizens only! Here is a map of how it's going to work, please share so others can see! We would like all cars to enter by the church of the annunciation. Go down the road and enter the park, get your food and then head back out by the Kearney Bus Barn! Please, please, please enter only from the church entrance! This will help the line! Remember this is FREE for our senior citizens, you just have to show up! Send your questions to [email protected]

With new guidelines going into place today 11.23.2020 please look at what programs are currently opened and closed. As of today, we are shutting down our rentals again over the weekends and during the week. This is to work with our county with limited gatherings of only 10 people. We know this could put a damper on your holiday plans, but we hope you choose to rent with us again when the restrictions open back up. If you have a rental scheduled with us please expect an email from our staff about the next steps on how to cancel that reservation. We hope this only temporary and that we get to see everyone again soon!
