Bethel Pentecostal Church 12.11.2020

There will be an online Bible Study and prayer tonight on this page at 7:30pm. We are looking forward to our next in person service this Sunday at 11am. Sis. Bethany and I are celebrating our wedding anniversary today with the theme In sickness and in health as we enjoy recovering together.... We are indeed getting better and feel very thankful for all the prayers lifted up and encouragement that has been sent our way during this time. We have had a very minimal amount of Covid cases as a church and for this we are very thankful. Let’s remember all those that are still sick or currently recovering. Blessings, Pastor AU

Hello church family! We wanted to say thank you for the words of encouragement and especially the prayers that have gone up for us this week. They make all the difference and I know God is answering even now. The church will be open for the 11AM Sunday service tomorrow. Let’s pray that God will bless the service for all attending either in person or online.... We continue to urge everyone to follow the guidelines that we put in place from the beginning, including honoring social distancing and wearing face protection, especially before and after services. We also ask that our elders who feel concern, anyone with underlying health conditions, anyone with recent symptoms of sickness or has had direct contact with someone who is sick, please stay home. We are continuing to go above and beyond CDC guidelines to keep our church clean, sanitized and safe for gathering together. With your help and cooperation with safety precautions, we will continue to be able to safely worship together. Church is essential. While restaurants, bars, home improvement stores, etc. continue to be packed and unsafe, our nation has realized that people need to be in church if possible. Let’s keep our church safe. Please continue to pray for all the needs of the church including any individual or family that is experiencing sickness or quarantine. I believe God inspired me to make a short but urgent list of prayer points for our saints and prayer warriors to utilize, which I have already been praying this week. Be looking for that list to be posted soon. Love and prayers, Pastor AU

We hope everyone is doing well this evening. There is some important information to pass along as we continue to deal with rising numbers of sickness in St. Peters and surrounding areas. Regarding the health of our church, the virus has hit two households in the last few days, the second one being my own. I received a positive test result today and now Sis. Bethany is feeling the symptoms I started having a couple days ago. Given the essential nature of ministry, and the hour...s spent among people and at the church, including fellowship, prayer and counseling, it’s no surprise that I would eventually be exposed and become sick. This also means that many others were around me and could have possibly been exposed. I’m so thankful for the seven straight months of in person services we have had without a cancellation, and for the extremely low number of confirmed cases in our church thus far. To God be the glory! Since this virus has touched two households in the time span of a few days, I feel the need to cancel tomorrow night’s Thursday in person midweek service and youth service. This will hopefully give the time needed for any possible exposures to be identified. *I will plan to pray together and share a Bible Study online on this FB page Thursday at 7:30pm.* As of now, the cases are contained and minimal. However, if anyone has any symptoms of sickness at any time this week, please contact us so we stay informed and aware. Those of us who are currently fighting this illness are experiencing manageable symptoms and fully expect to recover soon with the help of your prayers and God’s wonderful healing power. I am being well taken care of and have plenty of meals thanks to my wife and two good cooking moms. I am blessed. I welcome any texts of encouragement *Please contact anyone you know who does not use FB to let them know that there is no in person service tomorrow night.* Nov. 5 Love and prayers, Pastor AU
