PATRICIA PAT YVONNE COWSERT (nee Burden) - OBITUARY PATRICIA PAT YVONNE COWSERT (nee Burden), of Gray Summit, Missouri passed away October 20, 2021 the age of 77 years, 11 months and 10 days. Mrs. Cowsert was born November 10, 1943 in Spencer County, Indiana to Clifton Eugene and Ella Belle (nee Gilstrap) Burden. She was united in marriage to Eugene "Gene" Cowsert on December 10, 1960 in Londell, Missouri. Mrs. Cowsert is preceded in death by both her parents; her husb...and, Gene; five brothers and sisters, Freddy Burden, Sandy Lee Akins, Stacy Leann Odell, Stevie Joe Malin, Vicki Harvey; seven brothers-in-law, Charles(Jr.) Cowsert, Joe Cowsert, Kenny Cowsert, David Cowsert, Karl Cowsert and Danny Cowsert, and Charles Kopf; four sisters-in-law, Wilda Beamon, Geraldine Burden, Aldora Kopf, and Edith Cowsert. Pat is survived by four children, Michael and wife Rae Cowsert, Pacific, Missouri, Barry and wife Roseita Cowsert, Villa Ridge, Missouri, Tammy and husband Jerry Pemberton, Gray Summit, Missouri and Scott and wife Stephanie, Mobile, Alabama; two brother, Gene Burden, and Roger and wife Vicki Malin; four sister, Sandy and husband Clyde Pich, Reida Hall, Brenda Biziallian, and Becky Cartwright; two brothers-in-law, James (Sonny) and wife Judy Cowsert, and Freddy and wife Kelli Cowsert; and one sister-in-law, Tena and husband Jr. McPherson; nine grandchildren, Josh, Joey, Nikki, Cory, Randall, Lauren, Clinton, Katherine, and Avery; sixteen great grandchildren, Jordan, Zach, Carley, Cooper, Aria, Liam, Wyatt, Charlotte, Mara, Emma, Jeremiah, Molly, Troy, Elijah, Lucas, Jaxon; and countless "adopted kids" that claimed her as mom; other relatives and a host of friends. She was a sports fanatic, and never missed an opportunity to attend a family member’s game. She was retired from Wal-Mart, and spent many years employed at Pacific Lanes where she also was an avid bowler. She enjoyed attending her Gospel Singings where she and Gene would often travel to attend. She was a proud member of the Lion’s Club and participated in all their events. She was famous for providing Christmas Cookies to many family members and friends, and was always sure to send you the first Christmas Card of the season. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, kids and grandkids, especially her husband and Best Friend Gene. Visitation for Mrs. Cowsert will be Tuesday, October 26, 2021 from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Bell Funeral Home, Pacific, Missouri. A Lion’s Rose ceremony will be held at 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home with funeral services following at 6:30 P.M. officiated by Rev. Mark Cowsert. Interment is in Brush Creek Cemetery at a later date. The Cowsert family has requested memorials to the American Cancer Society.

DAVID SCOTT GODAIR - OBITUARY DAVID SCOTT GODAIR, Labadie, Missouri, passed away October 12, 2021 at the age of 76 years, 6 months and six days, at Marymount Manor, Eureka, Missouri. He was born April 6, 1945 at South Yarra, City of Melbourne, Australia to John Arthur and Jean Scott (nee Young) Godair. He is preceded in death by both his parents, and a sister Anne E. Mr. Godair was a graduate of Washington High School, Washington, Missouri, Class of 1963. He was retired from AT&T. He was a member of the Elks, Eagles and Hummingbird Clubs in Washington, Missouri, and the Missouri Botanical Garden of Gray Summit, Missouri. David loved living on Decker Road in Labadie, Missouri and he will be very much missed.

DONALD G. NICKELSON - OBITUARY DONALD G. NICKELSON, 61, Pacific, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021 at his home. Don was born on December 1, 1959 to Donald and Edwina (nee Lamar) Nickelson in Washington, Missouri. He was preceded in death by both of his parents. Don was married to Leslie (nee Hartley) Nickelson on October 2, 2020 in Pacific, Missouri. In addition to his wife, Don is survived by one daughter, Danielle and husband William White, Pacific, one grandson, Isaiah... White, one brother, Christopher and wife Tammy Nickelson, Arnold and their son, Tommy. Mr. Nickelson had been retired from Carpenter's Local 1 for two years. He enjoyed boating on the Meramec River and racing boats. Visitation for Mr. Nickelson will be held Friday, February 19, 2021 from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. A 7:00 P.M. memorial service will follow the visitation at Bell Funeral Home, 709 West Union St. Pacific.
