Laine Cameron Martin passed from this life on November 11th, 2020, at the age of 24 years. He was born on February 17th, 1996, in Rolla, Missouri, to Scott Brandon Martin and Kylie Dawn Bryant. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Tim Baker. He is survived by his father, Scott Martin and wife Jennifer, of Festus; his mother, Kylie Martin, of Crocker; two brothers, Landen Martin and Laithen Pfeifer; one sister, Kaelyn Nilson; grandparents, Donald and Norma Martin, of ...Springfield, Cameron Bryant, of Union, and Bonnie Baker of Laquey, and a host of other relatives and friends. Laine enjoyed watching basketball, and when he was able, he also enjoyed playing. He would debate just about any subject with his friends and family. He was a bit of a trickster and enjoyed making others laugh. His favorite food was pizza. Laine always stuck up for the underdog; he had a heart of gold and was always willing to help those in need. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. Laine will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Funeral services for Laine will be held on Monday, November 16th, at Dixon Assembly of God. A visitation for friends and family will be from 10 am to 11 am, with the funeral at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family.

Harley Glen Johnson passed from this life on October 24, 2020, at the age of 88 years. He was born on June 15, 1932, in Tuscumbia, Missouri, to Ira William Johnson and Julia Barnhart Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Julia Johnson; five brothers, Wade Johnson, James Johnson, Floyd Johnson, Fred Johnson, and Amos Johnson; five sisters, Bertha Keithly, Mary Henson, Lena Wood, Maud Johnson, and Mildred Johnson; one child, Ray Dwight Johnson; one grandchil...d, Matthew William Bilyeu; and one great-grandchild, Kaleb Jase Veasman. He is survived by his wife, Erma Jean Johnson; four children, Glenna Bilyeu (Jesse) of Dixon; Julia Anderson (David) of Western Grove, Arkansas; Billy Johnson (Becky) of Dixon; and Cynthia Pender (Frank) of Lebanon; thirteen grandchildren, Amber, Jenna, Seth, Cora, Luke, Lance, Blake, Rachelle, Austin, Hank, Chantry, Slater, and Charlotte; twenty-five great-grandchildren, Landon, Rylenn, Matthew, Sawyer, Jessalee, Allierose, Cadence, Issac, Blake, Madison, Cameron, Harlie, Tucker, Clayton, Mariesa, Cody, Finleigh, Macy, Myla, Briar, Henry, Barron, Lynnox, Nolani, and Killian; and one great-great-granddaughter, Jozie. Harley enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He especially loved Brookie fishing in Colorado and made several trips there for fishing and camping. In later years, he enjoyed his time at Truman Lake, jug fishing and camping. Some of Harley’s other hobbies included gardening and woodworking. He was an avid photographer. Harley married Erma Jean Howser on December 12, 1953, in Tuscumbia, Missouri. From 1949 to 1951, he worked as an auto mechanic at Eldon Equipment Co. in Eldon, MO. In February of 1952, he joined the US Marines, where he served in the Korean War. After the Marines, he had a varied work history, including: Dow Chemical, Madison, IL; McDonald Douglas, St Louis, MO; Prison guard in Jefferson City, MO; He then started his own small construction company where he worked in carpentry, building many homes, including his own and those of his children. Though Harley did not aspire to higher education, his love of woodworking, carpentry, and craftsmanship led him to a career at Fort Leonard Wood as Chief of Training Aids, Devices, and Simulators, where he worked until his retirement in 1988. He was known to all as a man of character, with integrity and high moral ethics. He was baptized into Jesus Christ, obeying the call of God. Memorial services for Harley will be held at the Dixon Church of Christ (12000 State Hwy 28), on Wednesday, October 28th. A visitation for friends and family will be from 10 - 11 am, with the funeral at 11 am. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Tuscumbia, MO.

Robert Dewayne Daniels Sr. passed from this life on September 30th, 2020, at the age of 61 years. He was born March 8th, 1959, in Rolla, Missouri, to Polly Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Ross and Polly Jones Ross, and a daughter, Melissa Presley, and three brothers, Johney Ross, Jerry Ross, and Michael Ross. He is survived by his wife, Donna Daniels, two daughters, Tabitha Daniels, and Jennifer Daniels and significant other Chris Greenhalgh, a son, Robert... Daniels Jr. and wife Jessica, twelve grandchildren, Earl, Draven, Hailey, Kyleigh, Jace, Ryker, Whitney, Allana, Lucas, Michael, Shawn, and Nikolas, two sisters, Virginia Humphrey and husband Donnie, and JoAnn Goff and husband Jeff, a brother, Bill Ross, and a host of other relatives and friends. Robert loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, camping, and barbecuing. He enjoyed watching westerns and WWE on television. He also enjoyed going to yard sales and garage sales. Most of all, he loved his family and spending time with his grandkids. When he was younger, he loved to be outside, playing games with his kids. Robert will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. Memorial services for Robert will be held at the Tabernacle of Praised in Rolla, on Thursday, October 8th. A visitation will be from 10 am to 12 pm, with the funeral at 12 pm. Interment will follow at the Pilot Knob Cemetery.

Jenny Louise Glick passed from this life on October 4, 2020, at the age of 89 years. She was born on July 14, 1931, in Fort Recovery, Ohio, to John Charles Long and Ethel Augustine. She lived to see 5 generations. She had 7 Children, 18 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-granchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Richard Long, two granddaughters, Charity Baker and Cherish Athmer, and a grandson, Shawn McClendon. She is survived b...y two sons, Terry Glick and wife Linda of Dixon, and Cecil Click and wife Melody of Rolla, five daughters, Sue Holleman of Arkansas, Judy Baker and husband Don of Dixon, Patty McClendon and husband Doug of Dixon, Janey Baker and husband Rodney of Dixon, and Brenda Athmer and husband Keith of Dixon. Jenny loved to read, and she loved music. As a young girl, she shared that love for music with her father, and often recalled fond memories of playing the piano and listening to her father perform. But her greatest love was her family. She was a devoted mother, a strong and independent woman who raised 7 children on her own. All who knew her would tell you that Jenny sacrificed a great deal to see to the needs of her children. Later in life she found a great deal of joy spending time with her grandchildren and her door was always open. She loved rocking her grand babies to sleep, and she always found time for those much needed trips to the snackette for ice cream. Jenny walked every day, and she prayed every day. Her prayers were quiet, but fervent, and she loved God deeply. She had a gentle nature, but a strong resolve when it came to those she loved. She was generous and never hesitated to give whatever she had to help someone else. She was a faithful member of the Assembly of God until her health prevented her from attending. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Memorial services for Jenny will be held at the Dixon Assembly of God, on Wednesday, October 7th. The visitation will be from 10 am to 12 pm, with the funeral at 12 pm. Interment will follow at the Pisgah Cemetery in Dixon.

Dorietta Zink passed from this life on September 30th, 2020, at the age of 90 years. She was born on October 8th, 1929, in Newburg, Missouri, to George Loughrige and Mayme Sneed. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Lee August Zink. She is survived by a cousin, Roberta Maxfield of Doolittle, several nieces and nephews, and a host of church family and friends. She also had many friends at the nursing home. Dorsietta was a kind and loving person, and will... be missed by all those who knew her. Dorsietta loved the outdoors, especially swimming and tanning at the Little Piney River. She never met a stranger and loved socializing. She was a long time member of the Newburg First Christian Church. She worked in the church kitchen and served food. She was known for making the best raisin pie you could ever think of eating. Dorsietta was an avid fan of the St Louis Cardinals and rarely missed a game. She also loved the Christmas Contada each year. Memorial services for Dorsietta will be held at the Newburg First Christian Church, on Tuesday, October 6th, with a visitation from 10 am to 11 am, with the funeral at 11 am. Interment will follow at the Ozark Hills Memorial Gardens cemetery in Rolla.
