Student Spotlight! Dane Christy is known throughout our school for his positivity, politeness, and his smarts. You might even call me an ornithologist, he told our elementary students, which he explained was a bird expert. A huge thank you to Dane (and his show chicken Sally) for spreading joy and knowledge throughout our school.
Due to Covid increase we will be closed Monday and Tuesday. Please see the attached letter for further details. https://drive.google.com//1ZxYEB4qNAnuw3aHLiHwsenpwVx/view

What she said!
Mrs. Fuller’s 3rd Grade class celebrated their return to school yesterday by learning about metamorphosis and releasing their butterflies into the school yard!
Her smile says it all, we are smiling too as we welcome back Mrs. Peggy Gaines in the Art Room while Mrs. Weber attends a conference! So many Great AHS memories with Mrs. Gaines!
Atlanta C-3 students FALL into learning in their great outdoors classroom!
Today I visited the Atlanta school district just north of Macon. Will Perkins is the Superintendent and Aaron Baker has grown up enough he is now a school board... member. Aaron went to school here and I think he said his great grandpa was an administrator here decades ago. Atlanta C-3 was a Blue Ribbon school in 2017, one of only eight to win this distinction. When Mr. Perkins first came to the school in the early 2000's the average tenure for teachers was TWENTY SEVEN YEARS. Atlanta is a great school with high achievement to its credit. Part of that is the history and community connection I believe. There's something solid about commitment and relationships. The other part is striving for excellence and being satisfied only after giving your best effort. Atlanta is a small town with a big heart and the school exemplifies all that is good about hard work and family. See more
Student positivity spotlight! Landon masked it up Frozen style today! Proof that a great attitude and positivity even shines through a mask.
