Amy’s Story was established in 2005 to place books in the hands of young learners. Witness how this literacy foundation helps young readers.
This creative and heartfelt story shows that even though we may be different, we all need love. Amy was a creative soul, eager to befriend those around her.
Amy had the "itch" for fun.
Amy always had her opinions, and she kept up with what issues were going on around her. She would have made a terrific voter, maybe running for President one day.
I have new and exciting news. I (Daniel Alford) will soon be stepping down from the position of Admin in Amy's Story- A Literacy Foundation. Your new Admin will be Marty Hawkins.
"I shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy." Take this time to descibe how you met Amy with only a Gif.
Amy was a true friend to many she came in contact with. Our friends are there to love and protect us when we need them and times get hard. I strongly recommend Mice Twice read by Ty Burrell. Written and illustrated by Joseph Low.
Amy Kathryn Hawkins: December 31, 1986-September 14, 2003 This quote from "Steel Magnolias" is a perfect tribute to this Blonde Bombshell.
