Today’s struggles: I’ve been preparing for a gallery showing for the past month, editing pics, choosing which ones I want to display. Never thought something would be so hard in my life lol with starting a new job and making sure everything is in order I’ve found that I have had zero days off in that month. And by that I mean not just physical days off...I mean mentally too. Although I may not be working, I’m sitting here having lunch with a friend thinking about all the thin...gs I need to do for this this and that. Then I start to think Ok Lex you need to be in the moment, relax for a bit. But at the same time I’m like Yo HUSTLE girl! The way you’re thinking now is why you are where you are right now. Trying to find that balance is tough and I’m constantly learning and battling with myself to find it. And with putting my art on display I tend to compare myself to other’s work and debate if the photos I’ve chosen will be good enough. Soooo my emotions are a little haywire today but hopefully once their up this weekend I can finally relax ...maybe.
