When #hawaiianshirtfriday coincides with #gearcheck. Keeping it fresh and safe out here!
The whole country is short-staffed. Be kind to those that showed up. Thanks for your your patience with us, but also your wait staff, cashiers, mechanics, and everyone else who has worked their asses off during the pandemic.
On this week TEN years ago, @limbwalkerwill and @beezer102 joined the All About Trees team! Will and Taylor are the heart of our fantastic team of arborists. Thank you guys for being badasses and for a decade of friendship. Love ya mean it. #allabouttrees
Ain’t they cute? It’s a shame these guys are so miserable at work. #allabouttrees
So random. Dueling grapples. Crane, lift, bucket. Brand new bucket. Visit to TCIA headquarters. Broken bus at Midwest Tree Climbing Championship. Winning wood. Cliff side rigging. Lightning struck cottonwood. Stump grinding on Hawaiian shirt Friday. Uprooted log sculpture. All unrelated, yet oh so fun!!!
IT. IS. #HAWAIIANSHIRTFRIDAY!!! Y’all join us in celebrating a good end to the work week! #allabouttrees
Rain day gear check. 10 climbers’ kits picked over with a fine tooth comb. Keep it safe y’all!!
We were scattered about for today’s #hawaiianshirtfriday but I ran the hell out of our big stump grinder for the day! Happy Friday y’all.
At All About Trees, we often talk about being influential. It’s part of our culture, as our employees participate in various community efforts, whether it’s local volunteering, training others, participating in tree climbing championships, or even national Arboriculture causes. Over the last couple years I have had a big opportunity to participate in an effort to help our industry improve safety and prevent arborists from being punished under logging and landscaping OSHA st...andards that aren’t always relevant to our trade. We also need OSHA to recognize how cranes (utilized properly) will make our industry safer. I have been to DC, met with Congresspersons, and participated in numerous small business panels to help create our own OSHA standard that will closely align with our very well written ANSI standards of best practices. I have tried to be as persuasive as possible to help them understand the difference between compliance and ACTUAL safety, and how an overzealous code will lead to resistance and lack of buy-in. I hope that my ideas will be considered as they work toward a code that will help arborists get on the same page and make our industry safer and more productive. Thanks to TCIA for the opportunity and this nice award, which I will treasure. See more
Hey, I forgot to post pics yesterday of #hawaiianshirtfriday on a day warm enough to lose the jackets! Spring is coming, we’ve almost made it. #AllAboutTrees
Yet another #hawaiianshirtfriday in the books at #allabouttrees. Crew was kickin’ ass and looking good doing it. Happy Super Bowl weekend to ya!
It’s been a busy week at #allabouttrees. We hosted a three day crane certification class, for three of us and five of our out-of-state tree friends. Also, today we took delivery of our new (used) 75’ rear-mount 4X4 bucket truck! Up tomorrow: #hawiianshirtfriday baby!!!!
Tomorrow starts crane certification with #cranes101. We are hosting this class with friends from several states attending. Zoom the marker board for secret message. #learnshit
First, can you find all the climbers in this pic? Second, can you get this guy in mittens to get out of our drop zone? #allabouttrees
#allabouttrees #hawaiianshirtfriday, where we have dirt uni-brows, tree silhouettes hiding in stumps, and all the angles. Hope your week was as productive as ours!!
Another #hawaiianshirtfriday is in the books. We had a safe and productive week, cheers to all our tree folks worldwide! #allabouttrees
It’s Friday, and we are gonna #tropitlikeitshot. From Josh giving away extra plants, to Dakoda modeling the new grease gun, to Jake hammering the brush, to a lunch break looking at the shitty tree they are removing. Have a great #alohafriday, thanks again for the shirts @arborwear!
Does this Hawaiian shirt match my buff?? Ah, who cares. Tomorrow is #hawaiianshirtfriday.
Just a quick Thursday night reminder that tomorrow is #hawaiianshirtfriday!! Post a pic! Be cool! Aloha!!
#allabouttrees #hawaiianshirtfriday has taken a very different turn today for our annual retreat. We have a GIGANTIC house on the lake to celebrate our year so far. Let’s see those Hawaiian shirt pics!!!!
#allabouttrees #hawaiianshirtfriday #party #safetyfirst @arborwear
Who wants to join us tomorrow for #hawaiianshirtfriday? Last Friday the boys ganged up on a back-leaning shit-stick and looked sooooo good doing it. We’ll post our fun pics tomorrow, hoping to see our friends looking fresh in Hawaiian shirts!!
Hey tree folks. All About Trees is really missing all our tree friends. With a little help from @arborwear we are officially starting #hawaiianshirtfridays ! Who wants to play with us?????
Two of our badass arborists just reached their 9-year anniversary at #allabouttrees! Let’s have some high fives for @limbwalkerwill and @beezer102!!
#oldschool estimates. We still do them. I’m often surprised at how many folks don’t do email, but I’m glad to hand them a printed copy while on site. #allabouttrees
#loveletters from our customers. It feels so nice! #allabouttrees
Part 5 of our meet our people series: Everyone, say hi to Max Prugger! Max has been a big part of the All About Trees team for almost 8 years. This guy is an ISA Certified Arborist and a crew leader. Max is a BMX daredevil, and a champion competitive tree climber. He is a magician in a tree, and our customers absolutely love him. We love how he sometimes says the craziest shit to make us all laugh. If you see a Max, give him an air high five, at least until the ‘Rona is gone!
