The July 2020 issue of the Adair County Historical Society's 36-page magazine just came off the presses today! If you are a member/subscriber, we plan for it go out in the mail tomorrow, 7-23-20. If not a member, you can get a copy at the Museum, 211 S. Elson in Kirksville or by mail. We are open Wed, Thur, and Fri, 1:00 to 4:00.
For those who remember Mrs. Lanier (Hardy) Strong White, or may have had her as a math teacher at Kirksville High School as Mrs. Strong or Mrs. White, you might like to send her a birthday card. April 27, 1899 - A monster tornado / cyclone sliced through Kirksville causing enormous destruction.
