Congratulations to the new Crew Leaders at Abbott EMS in Belleville, IL: Shelbi Roberts (Paramedic), Nikki Zuber (EMT), and John Zurliene (Critical Care Paramedic) - Shelbi Roberts started as a Paramedic with Abbott EMS in 2017 at the Belleville Operation. She has also worked shifts in Effingham, as well as Franklin County. Along with Abbott EMS, Shelbi has also worked at Staunton Area Ambulance Service and Big River Ambulance District. She has taken great interest in ope...rational procedures and clinical education. Shelbi is excited to work alongside a great supervisory team, as well as being a liaison to the amazing crews we have. - Nikki Zuber has worked as an EMT for Abbott EMS’s Belleville Operation since 2019. In that time she has taken great interest in learning how the various parts of the company work together to accomplish our common goals. As a Crew Leader, Nikki is looking forward to building her knowledge base and applying it in daily operations. - John Zurliene has been with Abbott for 13 years. He has worked as a Paramedic for the past ten years and as a EMT-PCC for two of those years. He has also been a Crew Leader before and brings with him some of that experience into his position. Everyone knows him to be hard working and considerate of others. He has proven to us that he will be a great leader for the future and will continue to improve or go beyond our expectations. Abbott EMS recently finished its Blues On Ice Training for 2021. There were over 30 EMTs and Paramedics that attended, with three Washington University doctors that we partner with for game coverage. Congratulations to Christopher Moore (Account Executive/Paramedic) for being named November Employee Of The Month. I would like to nominate Christopher Moore. He has worked his tail off to maintain our business during this time for all of the Abbott Operations, and although that is his job day to day, the virtual financial has made it that much harder: following up and making sure our customers work with us through our staffing challenges, POE delays, Decon delays, community CPR, employee relief and support, community parades, etc. He has been able to maintain and, in some cases, has added business. This is due to the solid relationships he had developed and nurtured without any stoppage of effort.Tracey Swabby, Business Development Manager Pictured - Christopher Moore
