Dont forget tomorrow, December 13th is the kids Christmas program and the church Christmas dinner. Sunday school starts at 9:45am, with breakfast at 10:15 and morning service at 10:15am. The kids program will start at around 10:30. Everyone is invited to stay for lunch afterwards! Bring a side dish or a desert, the church is providing ham, turkey, bread and mashed potatoes!

Harold Smith and his wife Yvonne joined us at Harvest just a couple of years after our opening. Their salty wisdom, passion for the Word of God, powerful prayers and gifts of the Holy Spirit have been greatly missed! We are, however, celebrating with Harold as he has joined his bride in heaven, and the two now walk streets of gold! Here is Harold's obituary: Harold Edward Smith Sr., Born February 12, 1934 in Springdale Ark to Charles Glenard and Helen Lucille Croft Smith. Har...old entered into eternal rest with is Lord and loved ones gone ahead, November 4th , 2020 at 1:25pm from a sudden short illness. Harold graduated High School in 1952 from Springdale High, Springdale AR. He then joined the U S Navy from 1953 to 1957. His active duty was on the A.C. Cockrell DE366 in the Philippine Sea and the USS Yorktown CVA-10 and was an Electronics Tech. Harold married Yvonne Cecil Lenhart in Springdale Ark on January 28, 1955 while on Furlough. Then back to California to board ship. He was discharged from the Navy in 1957 and soon after moved from California to Neosho Missouri where he took a position with Rocketdyne as an electronics engineer. His main duty was testing the Apollo rocket engines during the space race of the 60s. While at Rocketdyne he bought an 80-acre farm south of Neosho in 1965, raised his family and resumed farming raising crops, cattle, hog and horses. After Rocketdyne closed in the late 60s he began hauling livestock around the area for the local farmers which led him to driving professionally over the road many years for JTL Trucklines based in Springdale AR. Later he fulfilled a passion of his as a Farm and commercial auctioneer and worked for and owned his own Real-estate business and Brokerage before having to fully retire from health issues in 2009. Harold was very active in his faith and Church duties such as Sunday school Secretary, Adult Bible Class Teacher, Deacon, Trustee, and elder with the Assembly of God and Current member of the Harvest Community Church of Avilla Mo. Harold was proceeded in death by his Loving Wife Yvonne Smith in 2017, his only daughter Susan Yvonne Smith Bradford, one grandson Clayton Nathaniel Smith, and his parents Charles Glenard and Helen Lucille Smith. One sister, Doris La Verne Smith Schneider of Rogers AR, survives Harold. Three Sons; Eddie Smith and wife Brenda of Alice TX. Glendell Smith and wife Krystle of Stark City, Mo. Wesley Smith and wife Jeanie of La Russell, MO. Harold has 12 Grand children and 17 great grandchildren. Services will be Graveside, At 9:30am Wednesday November 11th 2020 At the Oak Wood Cemetery Contributions can be made to Ozark Christian Missions of Neosho % Clark Funeral Home and Services.
