The Clinton School District has received confirmation of 1 positive COVID-19 case at Clinton Intermediate School. This brings the total number of active cases to 16 (fourteen of which are Clinton School District individuals). The Henry County Health Center is in the process of conducting contact tracing, most of which is complete. The District has been in constant communication, and cooperating fully, with the Henry County Health Center as they perform the necessary contact t...racing and we will continue to follow their guidance. The Henry County Health Center is responsible for contacting students/staff who need to quarantine due to close contact with the individual who tested positive. If you are not contacted by the Henry County Health Center or the school district instructing your child to quarantine, your child can continue to attend school. The Clinton School District is following cleaning and disinfecting procedures so that schools can remain open. Clinton School District students, staff, and community members should continue to use the Daily Self-Screening Checklist found below and should stay home if displaying symptoms of COVID-19. As we navigate situations such as this, please be assured that the health and safety of our students and staff are of utmost importance. If you should have any questions, please contact your child’s school nurse or the Henry County Health Center (660-885-8193).

First grade students in Mrs. Lemasson's class worked hard all of first quarter learning how to be narrative writers. To wrap up their narrative writing unit, students published their favorite writing piece and then shared it with their friends and family during "Open Mic Night". Parents joined via Zoom to listen to their little authors tell their stories. #CardinalPride

The Clinton School District sends our best wishes to two CHS Cardinals who will represent the school district at the State Cross Country Meet tomorrow (Thursday, November 5th). CHS seniors, Melissa Jackson and Tyler Lutjen (pictured here with coach, Nathan Johnson), both placed 12th at the District Tournament last week, earned All-District recognition and a trip to the State Tournament in Columbia. Both Melissa and Tyler have participated in Cross Country since 7th grade and ...have represented the District well during their time as a Clinton Cardinal.
