Well... It's Turkey Teacher Week in the High School. The week where teachers compete and students to try to raise the most money for a nonprofit organization in our community. This year it is the Backpack Impact Program which serves free meals on the weekends to students in the Arcadia Valley and Belleview School Districts. Mr. Morey... we aren't quite sure what to think...

November 6, 2020 The Arcadia Valley R-II School District will continue remote learning for Monday and Tuesday, November 9 and 10. This will give us a full 14 day window that was recommended for our situation. We plan to return to on campus learning beginning Wednesday, November 11. Alternative Methods of Instruction (AMI) for Monday and Tuesday:... Elementary School - Students will continue to work on their AMI either on their provided flash drive or in their teacher's Google Classroom for Monday and Tuesday. Please return your black packets, flash drives, and Chromebook with chargers to your teachers Wednesday morning. Information regarding Halloween parties will be sent home with students on the next day we are in secession. Middle/High/Career Tech - Students need to complete AMI #9 and 10. Anyone using flash drives will return that on Wednesday.

October 31, 2020 Over the last week our cases of students and staff testing positive has seen a dramatic increase. We have been in communication with our Health Department and other school districts in similar positions. As a result and in order to slow the spread, we are going to extend our off campus learning through the week of November 2 - 6. We are hopeful that we will be back with on campus learning on November 9. The remote learning activities (Alternative Methods ...of Instruction) will be as follows: Monday and Tuesday's lessons are already preloaded on students' chromebooks and are available without the need for Internet access. Students will turn these lessons in on the next day they are back on campus. Monday - AMI #4 Tuesday - AMI #5 Wednesday through Friday's lessons and videos will be available on teacher's Google Classroom pages. Information on Google Meets for help sessions will also be available. These lessons and meets will require Internet access. If you indicated on your form at the beginning of the year that you did not have Internet access, we will have flash drives for students with the lessons/videos loaded on them for distribution. Please contact your child's building office if you have lost Internet access since the beginning of school and they will get you set up with a flash drive. Wifi Internet access can also be obtained at the HS Gym Parking Lot for anyone interested in accessing and downloading the lessons there. Wednesday - AMI #6 Thursday - AMI #7 Friday - AMI #8 If your child is in the virtual learning platform, they will continue on that platform at this time and will not need to complete the AMI lessons. We will continue to serve drive-through breakfast and lunch in the elementary school loop between Noon and 1:00 each day. This is free to all children 0-18 years of age. Please... Please... contact your child's building office if we can be of any assistance. We know this is hard on children and families. The safety of our students, staff, and community will remain our priority. Faculty and staff will be on campus working and available to be contacted through email as well. Please let us know how we can help. Stay turned to our website and your email for more information.
