On 13 September 2020, CPT Matthew Finan relinquished control of A Co, 1/135th Assault Helicopter Battalion to 1LT Joshua Turner through a Changing of Command Ceremony at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri. "The changing of the organizational colors signifies the passing of the Command from one commander to another. The organizational colors symbolize unity, strength, courage and by tradition are never allowed to fall in combat. Should they fall, the nearest Soldier picks the c...olors up and continues to press forward, leading the way until the objective is taken. This has been the tradition of the United States Army since the Revolutionary War, and it will continue to be the tradition of A Co, 1-135th Assault Helicopter Battalion. The colors will always be out front." Please welcome 1LT Joshua Turner to A Co, 1/135th Assault Helicopter Battalion. See more
