We had an interesting phone conference just now with a Judge on a case we were supposed to begin trial on today... Our clients have been waiting close to three years and a lot of work went into getting it ready. In these difficult times the justice system is placed on the back burner and we are all operating under our "new" normal. The clients understand and are also aware that my brother John is an ER Doctor back in New York.. they know him from all of us being active in Boy... Scouts together and asked about him... they understand duty and sacrifice. The good news for them and other clients is that the Judicial Branch has instructed all to keep moving forward so as to avoid delay and pile up later on. ZDR attorneys have still pushed depositions to be done by video even though many on the defense are opposed. When Rachel and i furnished our new office space recently we invested in a separate video conference room which was already a wise move and now even more important. To all our friends, family and those out there on the front lines we say thank you and we will be praying.
