Tickle your funny bone Friday!!! Loo's are the newest fad... not sure how much of a selling feature they are lol Have a great weekend and stay warm!

Did you know Monday?!!! Did you know a brand new home smells? That's right! As funny as it sounds, a new home has a new home smell just like a new car has a new car smell! Some love it and some not so much. The smells in your brand new home comes from materials used to build it. From paint to carpet... and in between... there will be a distinct smell. While this used to be a problem and it was recommended not to move right in due to some of the chemicals... improvements over ...the years have helped a lot! One example is in paint types. Those old oil-based paints had a very strong odor.... today's paints are not bad at all. So what can you do, if you do not like the smell? If the weather is nice you can let your home air out. Another option is to "bake" your home. This is when you leave the heat up on higher temps which will help the odors evaporate quicker. The smell will eventually disappear on it's own, even if you do nothing.... and your home will start smelling like you :) Have a great Monday!
