Tomorrow is the day! I cannot wait to get out and play in the woods. Make sure to dress for weather; we will be practicing social distancing and masks are required while in community with likeminded adventurers. There are still a few spots available if you were interested in joining.

Message from Administrator Chad Hudson: We want to make you aware! Please watch where you walk between now and early November... be sure to keep an eye ou...t while walking with your children and walking your pet....and wear shoes! This is prime time baby copperheads are born with venom and will strike to defend themselves. Snakes are generally not aggressive, but they will bite if they are touched or stepped on. It is wise not to reach under bushes, around rocks or flower pots without looking first. Copperhead snakes like damp places, so they could be found under children’s toys or dog dishes. This is just a reminder to keep aware of you and your loved ones surroundings when out and about. See more

Hello fellow Hikers and Yogi's if you don't already know me my name is Sheila Dugopolski @earthingyogi owner and founder of yoga hikes STL I am a Hiking Guide, Professional Photographer and an RYT 500 Yoga Teacher, My very good friend Nicole Dudas and I created this group as a way of connecting to more people who enjoyed the outdoors in the STL area as much as we do. She expanded her fitness business a couple years ago and has since moved on but hopefully will join in the fut...ure when she is able. Hope this finds you all safe and well. The weather is changing and we are seeing less cold days and the warmer ones are more frequent. Have you already visited any backcountry trails in your social distancing? I have been getting out as much as possible and can't wait to get back out exploring with everyone. This year I am going to do things differently since the pandemic is going on and in the past few years weather has been a factor in having to cancel hikes that we had scheduled in advanced. The groups will be much smaller no more than 8 and we will be following all proper social distancing protocol including everyone wearing masks and keeping 6' from others. I will create the hikes 2 weeks in advance instead of the usual all put up at the beginning of the season. I am hoping that this also deters the weather cancelations too. Hopefully we will all be getting back to normal soon but until then I feel like this is a safe alternative. Keep checking back through social media for the first hike of the season.
