Hey all you cool cats and kittens! We won't feed you to the tigers, because we don't have any (yet). We do have ghosts, goblins, clowns, spiders, and things that go bump in the night. Come check us out from 7 to 10pm tonight!

First off- Other than a few minor issues, we had a great opening day last weekend! Thank you to everyone who came out! Second- We have had some people trying to spread nasty rumors involving The Yard, so we would like to address that. We don't charge a fee to visit The Yard, but we welcome donations. We are completely transparent about where donations go. Donations cover the cost of operating The Yard (mostly a massive electric bill), they also go towards buying new things t...o improve The Yard. We also make a point to donate a portion to a great cause, which is The Spirit of Children program through Spirit Halloween. Many of the things we use to create The Yard are purchased at Spirit Halloween and what we donate there stays local and goes to the Child Life Department at Children's Mercy. We don't operate The Yard for profit, we do it because we love Halloween and we love to scare you. We will continue to do what we do! We can't wait to see you all next weekend!

We wanted to let you all know that we will be open this season! Starting October 2 we will be open Fridays and Saturdays 7-10pm until Halloween. There is still a lot of work to be done, but we hope to have a sneak peak for you all next weekend. We are also looking to get together some volunteer cast members. We welcome new and returning cast members. Send a message or contact Mike for details. We look forward to seeing you all!

With the eventful year we've had we are all looking forward to some nice, relaxing scares and frights this October. The master minds that create the Yard are working hard to plan an experience that will not only scare your pants off, but will also keep you safe from germs and other creepy crawlies. We are evaluating local guidelines that are currently in place and we may need a fortune teller to help get an idea of what the next few months hold. We will make every effort to open safely and provide the scary good experience you've all come to expect. We will be here to scare you unless it becomes impossible to do so. We will make more announcements when we get closer to September and our plans become more solid. In the mean time, don't forget to wear a face mask! (We prefer ones made from real faces)
