Johnny Kaw’s Outback (Country Bar) coming Spring ’21! When this challenging time is behind us there will be a time to celebrate. We plan to be there, bigger and better than ever. We recently took an opportunity at the Californos space and plan to combine it with Johnny Kaw’s Yard Bar. The massive, beautiful patio connecting these spaces will be a great addition to Westport! The entire complex will hold over 2500 people. Bonus.we are also designing a rooftop deck at Yard Bar that will hold 400+ #westportbars

With all our locations set to re-open Friday, June 12th we feel that it is imperative to show our commitment to this community throughout this time. Let us be clear and concise Black Lives Matter. That is why we have decided to partner with Race Project KC and use our opening night as a fundraising event that will contribute positively to our own neighborhoods. Ticket sales for each venue (Yard Bar, Bridger’s, Shot Stop and Lotus) will be donated directly to Race Project KC.... Race Project KC is a local organization that hopes to create collective knowledge of how we came to be a segregated community and awareness of how we can shape a more positive, inclusive future for all. By collaborating with educators, subject experts, authors, and community partners, high school students attend monthly events and workshops that address racism and social injustice. Schools in different parts of the city participate to incorporate students from different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. We fully support their mission and feel extremely fortunate to have this opportunity to help support and strengthen the community.
