Risky Venture "RePete" is a 2010 American Warmblood gelding. He was bred, raised, and trained by Kari Felton of Xanadu Farms. Currently located in Washington, MO near St Louis. Holsteiner/Connemara cross (Riverman and Erin Go Braugh lines). His amateur owner has run into a very difficult financial situation that forces this sale... It is absolutely no fault of his own. He is a wonderful horse who will make someone's dreams come true as he is ready to take out and earn your br...onze medal this season. RePete is 15.2hh with a compact build. He is a solid 2nd level horse with confirmed changes ready to show 3rd level, schooling some 4th level. Half pass is coming along nicely, very responsive off the seat and leg. Forward with easy, responsive brakes. Light and easy in the contact, comfy couch of a horse to sit as well. Literally, a petite amateurs dream horse... RePete has shown through 2nd level (last show was this past summer) by 2 different professionals and his amateur owner but has not shown much in recent years due to his owners financial situation. That said, he has been in full training with a professional throughout the past 4 years. For the past 1.5 years he has been in consistent full training w Kari Felton of Xanadu Farms (he is still in full training and will remain so through his sale). RePete is personality plus, super amateur friendly, no buck, bolt, etc. Lots of trail mileage and jumping experience up to 3'. He does best with a confident rider in a regular program due to his playful, super intelligent personality. However, he is a very safe horse. Trailers great, ties, has traveled all over the country with his army spouse owner. He is up to date on dentals, yearly shots, farrier, etc. He is a low maintenance hearty guy that has lived outside 24/7 and done a turnout/stall situation as well. He thrives in both situations without issue. Overall he is a super fun, straight forward guy. The perfect home is a must. His owner has had him since he was a barely started 2 year old and will only let him go to the right person. Lifetime registries with the AWS, USEF, and USDF. He also has his small horse card so he is ready to take to the small horse championships this year. Jumping Video Available as well. If you think you might be that person contact Kari Felton at 573-201-9287. https://vimeo.com/391028638/

Xanadu Crew, let me know if anyone is interested in ordering stall plaques, or stall guards for the barn or to take to the shows. I am getting orders together ...for Applegate Customs. I love mine! They turned out super. I had her do stall plaques for the farm to mount on my stalls, and hanging ones to take to the show. See more
