Successfully transmuted the silver Septims into gold. Now they will be ready to use on Saturday. :)

My wife loves the coins, so I did a little experiment to see if I could make her a glow in the dark Gold Septim coin necklace pendant... She was entirely too excited when I showed it to her in the dark...

The weather for this weekends Skyrim/Dragonborn Midsummer Gathering looks great. Sunny and 62 in the morning. High of 85 expected. We've been busily preparing for this weekend. Today I had to use a smelting pot to clean my pewter and get ingots ready for casting Gold Septims. I used the fort's campfire. Then I cast the silver laden pewter in hand made molds. I'll be making these all week and then turning them into gold with the "transmute" spell. :)

"Welcome Skyriim fans!!! Come celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Greatest Game as the Dragonborne of Ravensborg. This gathering will be just for fun. Dress as any character found in Tamriel (or Middle Earth or the Viking Age or Middle Ages). This will be a very open event as far as dress code goes. Keep it family friendly. ... Our regulars can come early as usual and can use this event as a combat trainer or a crafting session or whatever. Camping space will be available. They can also volunteer to help with what I am calling Dragonborn Questing. The public can come from 8am Saturday, June 19th and stay until 6pm. If the group fighters want to do combat shows, or sparring or training during any of this time that is fine. Members of the public or group that want to do the "Dragonborn Quests" will have to buy the Dragonborn Book at the gate along with 5 gold Septims (50 maximum players). The Dragonborn Book will be their's to keep. They will carry it with them as they fight their way through the quests and their successes and failures will be recorded by the evil "Bosses" at the quest sites. Points will be recorded and gold and jewels will be collected along the way. The highest level and richest Dragonborn will be announced at feast at 8pm. More information about how the quests will be run will be released later, but "combat" will be determined through 20 sided combat dice in a fight to roll a 100 point total, or a one minute battle of wits to answer a riddle, Dragonborn's choice. NPC's will inhabit Ravensborg as we hope to have a village blacksmith, merchant, inn keeper and traveling crafters and venders. Items for sale will also include a far wider assortment and fewer historical requirements. Now is the time to bring and sell your less than authentic viking kit and gear!!! We will not be requiring the same registration requirements for this event. However, if you want to vend, or help as a bad guy "boss", or have specific questions about attending please drop us a line. Dragonborn Questors are first come first served. The books can be reserved if paid for by PayPal. They will be $10. Gold Septims will be $5 and is all that will be accepted as payment throughout the event.
