WashU Crisis Response Fund for Employees has been created to assist those facing economic hardship in these unprecedented times. The fund will accept applications for expenses incurred between April 1, 2020 May 31, 2020. The application deadline is Monday, May 4, 2020. To learn more details visit the fund website. A second round of the "WashU Crisis Response Fund for Students" has been created to provide financial resources for WashU students who, as a result of unexpected additional costs or loss of income, need emergency financial support to pay for essential needs, such as housing, food, and medicine, between May 1, 2020 and May 15, 2020. The deadline to request funds is April 29, 2020. Students who applied for the previous Crisis Response Fund for Students are invited to apply for resources again, whether or not they received funding, but a new application is required. WashU has decided that instruction for summer 2020 will be delivered remotely out of concern for the health and safety of students and staff during the coronavirus. We anticipate that that the majority of our summer offerings will be retained in the remote format. Remember to check bit.ly/UCollegeSU20 after April 20 for updated information and course listings. The WashU Prison Education Program has canceled the screening and panel discussion of the excerpts from the recent documentary "College Behind Bars."
Jazz at Holmes has canceled the remaining dates of its spring concert season due to the public health crisis, WashU policy regarding public programming at this time and the quasi-quarantine in effect for the remainder of the semester.
