In response to the murder of George Floyd and the white privilege of Amy Cooper this week, I am reminded of a series of images I created for a two person art sh...ow I had at the Arcade Contemporary Arts Project/ Webster University Gateway Campus in 2018. Have you seen After Dark?! The annual DADAH spring exhibitions culminating the cutting-edge works of graduating class of BFA and BA were presented via live stream on May 10. The 2020 event marks the first DADAH graduating class to have their work presented in an online exhibition, and they are the founding class of a new online DADAH archive of the department’s graduating seniors. The online format of this exhibition initially responded to the global pandemic caused by COVID...-19, a situation that has drastically altered what our department and students are used to, but has also brought out the resiliency, understanding, and flexibility of students, faculty, and staff. Congratulations, Class of 2020! https://www.facebook.com/watch/live/?v=1655534391280281&ref=watch_permalink

We in the Leigh Gerdine College of Fine Arts and across Webster University are doing all we can to protect the health and safety of our students, faculty, staff and patrons. Due to preventative measures associated with health and safety concerns surrounding national COVID-19 recommendations, all events between March 11 and April 5 have been canceled and galleries closed. Please know that our number one priority is the safety, health and well-being of our audiences, staff, faculty and the young artists whose families have entrusted us with their care. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
