This is happening tomorrow at 1PM CT!(registration required) Here is the scoop: Prayer School with Brian Zahnd has introduced many people to the life change that comes from the practice of liturgical and contemplative prayer. Often people have asked, I see how you pray in the morning but what about Scripture reading? In this single online teaching session, Pastor Brian will describe his philosophy and core practices of reading Scripture. The Church has given Scripture to us as our sacred text. Pastor Brian will walk you through what daily Bible reading looks like for him and how you can open yourself up in new ways to Holy Scripture. Tickets to this online event are available for a donation of any amount. To register go to wolc.com/readthebible.

From last week’s opening sermon of Let My People Go: Encountering Christ in Exodus. Join us at 10AM CT at wolc.com/live.
Then Jesus said, What is the Kingdom of God like? It is like a tiny seed that a man planted in a garden; it grows and becomes a tree, and the birds make nests in its branches. 39 years ago, a seed was sown at the corner of 11th and Sycamore in St. Joseph, MO. A humble yet fitting beginning. A seed sown on sycamore street has grown to invite many of us from around the world to rest in its branches.... We have come to know the radical love of God revealed in Jesus here. We come to know that God is like Jesus, God has always been like Jesus, there is never a time God was not like Jesus, we have not always known this, but now we do. And this changes everything. Just like Zacchaeus at that ancient Sycamore, we too will never be the same.
Last Sunday was our 39th anniversary. Here is the service in under 14 minutes. It’s like the highlight reel!
