It's been forever since I've posted on here. Once spring gets here my whole time is busy working at the Cotillion Room and Garden. But here is a quick and easy breakfast. One small round of sausage chop it up. Add chopped onions and green peppers fry all together. Turn off skillet. Scramble in two eggs. Pulled together in a pile, top off with some cheese. 5 minutes or less for a healthy good breakfast to go work with.

Ducks and rain. Independence Mo. April 30th, 2019. I haven't put anything on City Farm of Independence for quite a while. We've been quite busy at our house in Independence. As many of you know, we have recently starting up our new business. The Cotillion Room and Garden in eastern Independence. Visit the FB sight "The Cottilion Room and Garden" if you would like to see all the beautiful things that we've been working on. It's been raining here in Independence for the last two days. We have finally gotten enough rain to form a pond here on the south side of my house. Our ducks are loving it. Enjoy the video.

Produce from my garden this year. Top left corner Armenian cucumber. Top Center spaghetti squash getting ripe. Top right the cover of Baker Seed Catalog for this year Atomic grape tomatoes. Center-left Juliet tomatoes.... Center Pumpkin pie pumpkin Right center yard long green beans and purple and green. Bottom left cucumber Bottom center cantaloupe still growing. Bottom right petite pumpkin I have just started getting squash beetles so I had to attack everything yesterday with some 7. I know it can bother healthy bees but had to spray the leaves and the vine and the ground to keep the squash beetles from eating everything. So now today it's raining again HALLELUJAH!!!!!!!!!! FIRST RAIN IN TWO WEEKS I THOUGHT I WAS IN UTAH AGAIN. But I will have to respray again on Friday or Saturday. Make sure you spray the ground. If you do get squash beetles cuz that's where they breed and that's why they eat the inside of the Vine. It is better to spray the ground before they start hatching once you see one squash Beetle you know there's hundreds more. HAPPY SUMMER GARDENING. See more

Muscovy baby ducklings hatching today July 20th. If you live in the independence area and would like some. Please contact me $6 each or 3 for $15. They make great backyard ducks, they do not quack. And people who cannot eat chicken eggs, generally can eat duck eggs. You can use a duck egg for a replacement in any egg recipe. Or just scramble them Fresh in your skillet.
