How many of you have heard of Charlie Hustle? It’s a crazy popular T-shirt brand based out of Kansas City. (You’ve probably seen me sporting their shirts once, twice okay, hundreds of times.) I was super excited to go out to their factory, meet the owners, and see how the bacon is made. Flashback to my old college photography days. How many of you took photos for your college newspaper? Man, that was fun. I'm not a big sports guy (surprise, surprise), so I don't always understand the game's intricacies. Still, I love to document the story on the sidelines. It's often more powerful and exciting than the game. In fact, it was a professor from KU that taught me to "look past what is staring you in the face." What? You thought I didn’t shoot weddings anymore? Ok, this is obviously from pre-covid times, but I still shot a few weddings in 2020. Weddings now are smaller and more intimate, but folks are still getting hitched, pandemic or not. I miss these days and am excited to get back to it this coming year!
