We are gearing up for Row By Row!!! We have fabric and fabric plates!!

We will not be having a Cut Ups meeting this month at Winston's Sewing Center. We will definitely have a meeting next month, February 20. The featured quilt is a Cut Ups Request -- one of our regular members had a great idea and we've turned it into our project for the month! Hope you have a great month and that we get to see you in February. If you are interested, we have started a Runner of the Month class. The first Saturday of each month a different runner will be made in class and a different quilting technique will be highlighted. Runners will be 9 1/2" x 36", the same as the row by row project, so you can increase the size of your row by row quilt if you want. Merry Christmas! Even thought it doesn't feel much like December out there, the holidays are approaching quickly. If you are like me you are frantically working to finish up those gifts for Christmas! I just want to remind everyone that there will NOT be a Cut Ups meeting at Winston's this month -- we figured everyone would be too busy.... I'm praying that you have a happy, healthy holiday. Try not to make yourself too crazy and be sure to find some time to pamper yourself a bit! Susan Stitch

Can you believe the holiday season is upon us? I actually saw Santa at the mall over the weekend -- I'm sorry, but that's just too early! Christmas is coming soon, but there's still time to get those quilted gifts finished! Join us this Saturday, November 21, at Winston's Sewing Center at 10:30 am. We'll talk about some simple wall hangings and table runners, plus I'm designating it: FAVORITE TOOLS AND TOYS DAY!... I'll bring in some of the wonderful tools, rulers, and toys I've bought that I ACTUALLY use (there are a ton I wish I'd never purchased -- I'll leave them at home!). Perhaps you'll find some things you want to add to your Christmas list. PLEASE BRING IN YOUR FAVORITES, TOO! I'll see you there
