Splash Dance The advantage of having 36 glorious square feet in your shower, is room for shots like this in January. I had all my gear (off camera flash, tripod, camera, backdrop, and lots of towels) set up before bringing Ben into the shower. Once he was in the shower, I had him sit in the general area of where I would be focusing. I then soaked him with water. Ben is so obedient, he sat there and waited, dripping wet, for the command "Shake!" ... Because I was using a flash, and it's not as fast as my shutter (1/4000th for EC) I only had one chance to get it right before he was done shaking. Patience is the key; I had to fight the urge to release the shutter when he first started and give he a second or two to get really wound up. #52framesphotographers #52frames_week4 #52frames_water See more

I have been participating in 52 Frames for the year. Each week had a prompt to follow. For week 52 we were to review 2020 in a photograph. I tried something relatively new, I had tried this method before, but went about it a different, cleaner way this time. While 2020 has been a rough year on so many, it has brought us many blessings. Two are represented here; our third grandchild (we welcomed 2 new grands in 2020) and our move to Michigan.
