From: Right Worshipful Brother Bobby Smith, District Deputy Grand Lecturer, 21st Masonic District To: The Brothers of the 21st Masonic District of Missouri Subject: RITUAL WORK AND STAYING PROFICIENT... I really miss all you brethren and cannot wait until we can all get together again. Since the shutdown of our Masonic activities (except for Masonic Funerals), due to the COVID 19 Virus, I have been doing a lot of thinking about our situation. From what I have seen on TV this situation was supposed to get better in days or weeks. In my humble opinion I believe it is going to take several months. I sincerely hope that I am wrong. Usually when a football, baseball, or basketball team does not participate in normal activities they tend to get rusty. I believe this also applies to Masonic Lodges. We have been under a statewide Stay-at-Home order for a while now. Most of us may have time to get out our Ciphers and hone our skills. Some may desire to learn a lecture, obtain other sub cards etc. I hope you will consider taking a little time while we wait out this situation to remember your obligations and practice our Ritual.
