Can you imagine what a boring world it would be if everybody looked and thought exactly alike? Fortunately, God loves variety. The same God who makes billions o...f variations of stars and snowflakes intentionally makes people different. As children of God we can learn to appreciate and celebrate our differences because God has ordained both unity and diversity in His kingdom forever. After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb - Revelation 7:9 #InterpersonalRelationships #Outlook

One constant appears in the Bible whenever God approaches humans. We see it several times in Luke’s account of the birth of Jesus. As the angel approaches Mary ...to announce that she will bear God’s Son he says to her, Do not be afraid, Mary. Likewise, Zechariah is startled by an angel who urges him, Do not be afraid. Even the angel who appears to the shepherds has to comfort them: Be not afraid. Jesus Himself assures His followers, Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. The night He walks on the water toward the disciples they are petrified. But Jesus affirms to them, It is I. Don’t be afraid. Elsewhere He comforts us with, Fear not, little flock. After the resurrection, an angel says to the women seeking Jesus’ body, Do not be afraid. Then Jesus appears to the hiding disciples and reassures, Do not be afraid. Do we get it? Just as we don’t want our own children to live in fear, God doesn’t want us, His children, to live in fear. Learning to trust fearlessly provides tremendous benefit to our lives. With our trust placed firmly on God we can endure anything. #TrustInGod #Outlook

Researchers at Harvard University have discovered that you can adjust serotonin, a brain chemical linked with depression, by varying the amount of carbohydrates... in your diet. Not only that, when you get depressed, the brain triggers a craving for the carbohydrates capable of restoring the serotonin to normal. In other words, food can affect your mood, and your mood can influence which foods you choose. By eating the right foods, you may be able to lessen your susceptibility to stress. #Choice #Nutrition
