When you have your four-year-old take a picture of you sporting your @semo_mbb gear during their game only to later see it had turned to commercial. A do it for the gramfail It made me laugh (in dark humor!) though cause I feel like it was so on par for the way things feel lately as a mom. No matter how much you try and how much you love your kids - there’s so many areas you feel like a failure in. And that mom guilt is so real and can be so dark.... I could go on and on about this but the fact is that I don’t have TIME to (neither do you). I’ve got three kids to raise and lots of life to live (and so do you). And, I can’t spend more ENERGY on these feelings than what they deserve. Negative thinking and dwelling in negative feelings #aintnobodygottimeforthat Because... My kids may not eat the healthiest but we eat together. We may have had way too much screen time in 2020 but we read plenty of books (ALL the books). We may not always get the perfect pic but memories are still being made. I may not be able to constantly entertain and be fully present with my kids, but I try. I try so hard. I’d much rather focus on these positives than dwell in the negative #cognitivetherapy And, at the end of the day my kids know they are loved. Very much loved. So keep your chin up, Mama. You’re doing your best and your child knows you love them. P.S. We won this game in double overtime

A lot of people have a weight loss goal, but it’s really just a side effect of health. Resolutions. Not everyone likes them...but I LOVE them! And I love to hear what others are doing, too! I don’t have mine completely decided yet but I know one is to practice much more gratitude for even (*especially) the small things I also plan on organizing this house and the garage ...
