We treated two different ends of the same issue today, back to back. Both small terriers. The first had severe neck pain starting at the end of March, to the point of constant muscle spasms and inability to turn her head. We started working with her in May because she hadn't responded to the medicine she'd been prescribed, and after 3 weeks of twice weekly acupuncture, electrostimulation, and cold laser, plus the initial chiropractic adjustments, today she came in complet...ely pain free! The second was a dog who had ONE episode of freezing his head and neck during activity with some brief strange behavior. He ended up with a chiropractic visit where we had to adjust his atlas (first neck vertebra) and occiput (base of skull). If he hadn't gotten these adjustments so promptly, he could have ended up needing the extensive treatment our other patient got. Regular chiropractic evaluation can help prevent more serious issues!
