Whitfield Community Service

Whitfield's Women's Alliance is partnering with the Community Service Club again this year to collect donations for St. Martha's Hall, a shelter for abused women and their children. We will be collecting items in the community service bins from now until February 11, 2020. Requested items include toilet paper, baby wipes, umbrellas, children’s shampoo/conditioner, Target or Wal-Mart gift cards. Please place all donations carefully into the community service bins located outside of Room 302 and Woods Hall.

Whitfield's Community Service Club is conducting a basketball drive in support of the Literacy Initiative's Books & Basketball program. The Literacy Initiative is a non-profit organization founded by Whitfield student, Agha Haider 21. Since its founding in 2017, the Literacy Initiative has provided over 8,000 books and $3,000 dollars worth of school supplies to economically disadvantaged kids across the St. Louis area. Questions? The community service club is hosting a service opportunity on Sunday, September 8th from 7:30-9:30 AM at the Ronald McDonald House in Creve Coeur on the campus of Mercy Children's Hospital.Volunteers will help prepare meals.
