When coming up with new coffee blends and cocktail concoctions the owners of @incahootsparkville had to put their heads together and really think outside of the bean. After all, great minds drink alike. We just wish they were already open but early 2021 will be here soon enough!

We finally get to start sharing what we’ve been working on for @incahootsparkville. As you can imagine, COVID-19 has pushed the opening date for this fun coffee x donuts x cocktail spot a few times but that just gave us more time to really go loco with the brand. We hope you enjoy this tiny teaser because there is a lot more coming at ya.

Fit Street was such an inspiring project to work on. The owner's goal is to help people create the best versions of themselves through training, community support and self-care. We will post a full recap soon but here are a few more photos of the final work. Shout out to @hermanosdesign for being an awesome architectural partner on this and @fedelephoto for capturing the vibe of the gym so perfectly.

It was a pleasure working with the The Kansas City Symphony on crafting their Mobile Music Box concept. Obviously COVID-19 has effected concert lovers from attending shows so the symphony developed this pop-up stage that filled Kansas City’s beautiful neighborhoods and parks with amazing music from K.C. musicians. There are a few shows left. Check it out if you can before the cold parks it for the winter.

DESIGNER’S SPEAK (1 of 5) Roberto and Jacob designed a piece that reflects on the words Abraham Lincoln spoke in 1858. His speech spoke to how the country couldn’t endure permanently half slave and half free. But viewing the statement in 2020 they saw how it could be applied to a country that can’t persist being half truth and half lies. Or half hope and half fear. Or half science and half hoax. Go vote and make your voice heard. Because all issues hit home.

SNEAK PEEK We had a blast doing the positioning, identity, collateral, merch, website, etc for @fitstkc. We also worked with our friends at @hermanosdesign on some of the interior details. Wait until you see all the details that @fedelephoto shot last week. More to come...

Being an intern in 2020 is weird. Between working remotely, not having as much one-on-one time with mentors, the obliteration of any kind of agency culture and a few hundred other things it’s totally nuts and our hat goes off to all the interns out there....including ours. Jacob started right before we all went into quarantine and has done a remarkable job on a number of our clients. Bhroovi started at the beginning of September and has integrated herself into the team as fast as anyone we’ve seen. Thank you two for all ya do! @_awstudio

It’s weird posting about winning awards with so many crazy things going on the world right now. It obviously feels a bit trivial and maybe even totally pointless. But we talked about it and we ultimately felt we still need to give shout outs for these wins if for nothing else than to give props to our amazing creative partners, honor our great clients and maybe feel better about some of long hours coming up with this stuff. So with all that said, we’re excited to finally share that we had a hella good night at @aafnational ADDY awards a few months back. Both @flingcocktails and @campleavenworth won national awards and the can designs for Blood Orange Vodka Soda, Whiskey Mule and Bourbon Smash won national GOLD. Everyone in the shop touches Fling so it’s always a bit more rewarding when the win is a team win! @8183studio
