Time for the daily paddock move and Grogu has the right idea on this hot and humid day!!

No rain for a few weeks and heat index tipping 100 now. Fortunate we were blessed with abundant early season rain and that we implemented aggressive pasture rotation. Prolific pasture adapted Dorper/White Dorper sheep don’t hurt the cause either. #dorper, #whitedorper, #rotationalgrazing

If you can make it happen, don’t hit the same place twice for 35-40 days. Your pastures, sheep (health and growth), and winter hay bill will be better for it. Our current stocking rate is 92 sheep on 0.5 to .75 acres each day while moisture and growth is good. #Dorper #RotationalGrazing #WhiteDorper
